What is your Refer-a-Friend program?

The Georgia Natural Gas® (GNG) Refer-a-Friend program allows current GNG customers to earn credits on their bill when they refer friends who enroll with GNG.
How much can I earn?

There is no limit to the amount of bill credits you can earn. See Terms and Conditions of Service for additional information.
How do I get rewarded for referring my friends?

Referring your friends is easy! First, get your unique Referral Code here, and then share it with your friends. Each time a friend signs up with GNG on an eligible GNG price plan, provides your Referral Code during their enrollment, and then begins burning gas on that eligible GNG price plan, you’ll earn rewards. See program Terms and Conditions for additional requirements. Some exclusions apply.
How do I get my personal Referral Code?

Your referral code is available online. Use your GNG Account Number to log in here and view your Referral Code. You can also use our easy sharing tools to begin referring friends today.
How do I share my Referral Code?

Sharing your personal Referral Code is easy. We’ve even built some easy-to-use tools to help you. Use your GNG Account Number to log in here and access the following tools:1. Share by Email: Simply input your friends email addresses, and we’ll send them a custom email with all the information they need to easily sign up with GNG. 2. Share Socially: Use Facebook and Twitter to share your Referral Code with your friends. Just click on the social media icon in your Refer-a-Friend account here to post a customized message to your feeds.
How does my friend enroll with Georgia Natural Gas?

New customers can enroll with Georgia Natural Gas at gng.com or by calling 1.877.850.6200. Simply ask your friend to enter your Referral Code in the Referral Code box when they enroll online, or provide your Referral Code to the Customer Service Representative when they call. Be sure to remind them to provide your Referral Code when enrolling, or you will not be eligible for your Refer-a-Friend reward.
How will I know if someone signs up with my Referral Code?

When one of your friends enrolls with GNG and provides your Referral Code during enrollment, we'll send you an email to let you know that an enrollment with your Referral Code has occurred. If you haven't provided us with an email address, we won't be able to notify you. You can add or change your email address by logging in to your Online Customer Service Account. When will I receive my Refer-a-Friend rewards?

After your friend enrolls with GNG, it can take 3-5 weeks to activate their natural gas service with GNG. As long as you are an active Georgia Natural Gas customer when this happens and through the term of the bill credit payment schedule, you will get a $10 bill credit on each of your next five bills – for a total of $50 in bill credits. *Terms and conditions apply. If I refer my friends what do they get?

In addition to getting great natural gas service, your friends will also be able to choose the plan and offer that best suits their needs. They can choose from our current Refer-a-Friend offer or any of our other special promotions. They simply need to provide a promo code when they enroll.
What is the difference between a Referral Code and a promo code?

A Referral Code earns existing GNG customers a reward for referring their friends to GNG through the Refer-a-Friend program. A promo code gives a new customer a promotional benefit for enrolling with Georgia Natural Gas.
I sent my friend an email from your online email tool but my friend never received the email. What could have happened?

Please have your friends check their spam folder or promotions tab. Additionally, your friends may have previously unsubscribed from Georgia Natural Gas’ marketing emails.
If I was referred by a friend, but forgot to provide their Referral Code, what should I do?

You have 7 days after your initial enrollment to provide your friend’s Referral Code. Please contact our customer care team by phone at 1.877.850.6200.
